 Shifter and clutch done
I gave up on my FSAE inspired shifter and after looking around on the net and brain storming I came up with this:
And the best thing was that I was able to use the stock clutch cable, even though I already bought a custom one Works great when its on stands, guess real test will be on road...

i have a question, i am quiet new to this but very much interested. i myself plan on building one these motokarts. my question is, in what direction do you shift the stick when you going onto the first gear and 2nd,3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, gears. i know it would be similar to that of the original bike but i am still confused.

Push forward to change to higher gear, pull back to go to lower gear. That was the most comfortable for me.

I will try to get one soon but just study the picture above its a very simple concept. You have the stock shifter lever on the engine itself, one solid rod, and the shifter handle.
